EODs are very unique and distinctive marbles (only one of its kind) at the end of the day I take all the little prices of color and shorts from making marbles and make the last marble of the day. The colors and patterns are random I do not know what it will look like when it is done, some will be destroyed and some will one of a kind masterpieces.

...and some think I have lost my marbles !!!

EODs do not happen every day, only when I have enough short rods and bits of color to make a marble, that can be several days

"End-of-Day glass usually refers to items that were made with the glass
left over at the end of the work day. This terminology has become
interchangeable with glass items that have a multitude of colors, or where
the colors appear to have been picked up and rolled into the glass in a
mottled fashion - in some cases, one color over others.

It is commonly believed that End-of-Day marbles were made the same as
swirls - out of rods. Therefore, one marble off each rod had a single
pontil. Due to this, we categorize the grouping as End-of-Day marbles with
single or double cutoff (pontil) marks."

End-Of-Day. Refers to a type and style of glass. Subclasses are paneled,
cloud, onionskin, and Joseph's Coat; all of which may have one or two
pontils.

End-of-Day - hand-made marbles; contain a multitude of colors; have a single
pontil. Usually a core of solid multicolored glass with a covering of clear
glass.
